Pangard Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is helpful in treating stomach acidity and heartburn. It helps in relieving the symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain or irritation, and indigestion. It promotes the movement of food in the stomach to prevent nausea or vomiting.
Pangard Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.
This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. Some of the common side effects of this medicine are stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. HOW TO USE PANGARD PLUS TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pangard Plus Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.
HOW PANGARD PLUS TABLET WORKS
Pangard Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Lactation –CAUTION
Pangard Plus Tablet should be used with caution during breatfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Driving –UNSAFE
Pangard Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney –CAUTION
Pangard Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pangard Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver –SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Pangard Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pangard Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
