Introduction About Rabegard DSR
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is a prescription medicine. It is helpful in treating stomach acidity and heartburn. It helps in relieving the symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain or irritation, and indigestion. It promotes the movement of food in the stomach to prevent nausea or vomiting.
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.
This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. Some of the common side effects of this medicine are stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. Before taking the medicine always consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if you are suffering from any severe stomach, liver, kidney disease, or any known disease.

HOW TO USE RABEGARD DSR CAPSULE
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.
HOW RABEGARD DSR CAPSULE WORKS
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Alcohol – CAUTION

Pregnancy – CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation – CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving – UNSAFE
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney – CAUTION
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver – CAUTION
Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Rabegard DSR 30 mg/20 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
